I soon learnt that covering the Mardi Gras this year wasn't just the parade. Over a 3 week period there is a stack of different events catering to all the different sub cultures within the gay community. When I heard about Geoff Ostling and how he plans to donate his ink covered skin to a museum I knew that his event "Hot Ink" was not to be missed.
Prizes were awarded for the most erotic tattoo, the rudest tattoo, the tattoo you wish you never got etc etc
